Please note, that if work is done outside of standard working hours (Mon–Thu 07:00–15:30 and Fri 07:00–13:45), an overtime charge based on actual working hours will be added to the rates.
Additional reading of the water meter
If the property owner fails to fulfill their annual reporting obligation, Haminan Vesi has the right to check the meter reading and charge the customer for the visit. A fee of € 65 (€ 81,58 incl. 25,5 % VAT) is charged for reading the meter.
Removal, installation and storaging of the water meter
If a customer wishes to have the meter removed during a temporary service interruption due to the risk of freezing or other reasons, a fee of € 110,00 (€ 138,05 incl. 25,5% VAT) is charged for the removal, reinstallation, and storage of the meter.
Replacement and inspection of the water meter at the customer’s request
Haminan Vesi replaces and inspects water meters upon the written request of the customer. The inspection fee covers the replacement and inspection of the water meter by Haminan Vesi. An external inspection carried out at the customer’s request is charged based on actual costs incurred. If the meter is found to have an error of less than ±5% at nominal flow rate, Haminan Vesi charges the customer the inspection fee. Otherwise, the inspection costs are paid by Haminan Vesi.

Defrosting the property’s water pipe
The charge for defrosting a water pipe (equipment and work, two workers) is € 153,00 (€ 192,02 incl. 25,5% VAT) per hour. The minimum charge is 2 hours.
Shutting off and turning on the water supply
A fee of € 77,00 (€ 96,64 incl. 25,5% VAT) is charged for each visit to close or open the water service connection valve.
Reception of septic tank sludge
Reception at the wastewater treatment plant in Nuutniemi: € 7,30/m³ (€ 9,16 incl. 25,5% VAT).
Sprinkler fee
The construction of the sprinkler system connection point or any modifications to the water mains resulting from the installation of the system will be billed based on actual costs.
Sprinkler fee is charged of preparing for the supply of property-specific extinguishing water.

Seasonal fee of water hydrant
Usage fee for property-specific water hydrant without water meter: € 115,00/year (€ 144,33 incl. 25,5% VAT).
Usage fee for a public water hydrant: € 50,00/year (€ 62,75 incl. 25,5% VAT).

Penalty interest and debt collection costs
Penalty interest, confirmed annually by the Bank of Finland, is charged on late payments.
Collection costs are charged in accordance with Ropo’s service fees.
Changes in VAT rates will be reflected in the charges without a separate decision.
