The location of public water hydrants will change in Neuvoton

Public water hydrants in Hamina are intended for use by local residents and summer residents.

Using water hydrants always requires an agreement with Haminan Vesi.

The water hydrants in Mäkelänkankaantie in Neuvoton and Hevossaarentie in Salmi will be taken out of service in mid-October (the date has been extended from the previously announced date). Until then, they will still be available.

The area’s water supply will be streamlined by building a new replacement water hydrant near the school next to the sports hall (Suntiontie) and it will be available no later than week 34. We ask all users of the Mäkelänkankaantie and Hevossaarentie water hydrants to switch to using the new water hydrant in the future.
