Replacement work of faulty water meters on-going
LVI Himas Oy will replace faulty remote-readable water meters in single-family homes in the Hamina area during July. The water meter replacement is free of charge. Residents will be contacted via text message regarding the meter replacement. The failure of the water meters will not affect the recording of consumption readings.
The LVI Himas Oy installer has an ID card with a photo and a written power of attorney issued by Haminan Vesi. The replacement work will be carried out at the expense of the water meter supplier.
Residents are asked to arrange unobstructed access to the water meter for the installer in accordance with our delivery terms.
If the water meter is placed in fixed furniture, any protective plates or cabinet doors must be removed in advance to speed up the replacement work.
To avoid the risk of water damage, residents should monitor the meter and the associated piping after the replacement. If you notice a leak or water droplets, contact an LVI Himas Oy installer immediately.
