Electronic signature and strong identification

Haminan Vesi begins to use electronic signatures in contracts for new water connections and contracts made in changes of ownership.

If electronic identification is not possible, the agreement can be signed at the office by presenting an official ID card before signing.

For electronic signing of contracts, the customer must provide an email address for sending signature request and attachments. In case of a change of ownership, a copy of the deed of sale, the seller’s new address and the water meter reading from the date of the change of ownership are also required.

The change will be valid for contracts made from 1st of September 2025 onwards.
